Secretary General of the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) since 1/08/2013. Before taking up this function, Isabelle has been working as Director of the European Federation of Inland Ports (EFIP) and Senior Advisor of ESPO for four years.

She studied Law (University of Namur and KULeuven) and European Law (UCL Louvain). Before joining EFIP, she worked in EU Public Affairs for almost 20 years. After a short period at the European Commission (DG Agriculture), she worked in an EU Public Affairs consultancy. In 1994 she started working in the European Parliament, as a political assistant and between 1999 and 2009 she was the political assistant of Dirk Sterckx, where she was mainly active in transport and port-related fields. She is co-author of the handbook “Zo Werkt Europa” (1st edition 2007, 2nd edition 2010, 3rd edition 2015).

Professional Expertise

Bethany Clark is the Senior Managing Director of Strategy & Operations for Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Services group for the Americas. She provides strategic and operational oversight for the Industrial service line at C&W, supporting the performance of the company’s nearly 840 brokerage professionals in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Ms. Clark partners closely with C&W Marketing, Research, Consulting and other professionals to provide Industrial Brokers with supply chain insights, business development support, thought leadership and research publications, and other client support tools.  These capabilities differentiate C&W’s Industrial Brokers in the market to help clients identify and realize strategic real estate solutions for manufacturing and distribution.  She also ensures strong collaboration between the Industrial Services practice and other C&W service lines, such as the Retail practice, Client Investor Services and Capital Markets, as well as strong coordination and collaboration across global markets.  Ms. Clark is based in Atlanta, GA.

Ms. Clark was previously the Senior Director for I/T Budget, Portfolio & Planning at Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, responsible for developing and overseeing the division’s annual operating budget, key strategic initiatives and plans, and the annual project portfolio.

Prior to that role, she was an Assistant Director in the C&W Global Supply Chain Solutions Consulting group, where she focused on client engagements for network design and optimization, location selection, transportation considerations, and labor market studies for clients such as Novartis and Five Star.

Ms. Clark has an extensive background in operations management, strategic planning, retail store operations, warehouse and distribution center operations, budget and cost optimization, strategic workforce planning, vendor management, information technology and project portfolio management.  During her 11-year tenure with Sears, she held leadership roles in supply chain, internal audit and store operations.  Past roles at Sears include National Operations Manager for the Parts Distribution network, and Assistant General Manager for an Apparel Distribution and Imports Receipt Center.

Ms. Clark holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business (Magna Cum Laude) and a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising from Indiana University.

As Logistics & Industrial Lead, Americas, Tray Anderson provides strategic vision and leadership for the firm’s 840+ industrial brokerage professionals and eight industrial advisory groups in the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America. He is responsible for the integration and collaboration of Logistics & Industrial Services with Cushman & Wakefield’s other service lines, such as Global Occupier Services (GOS), Global Consulting, and Capital Markets.

Leveraging his expertise in total cost business case development, supply chain network modeling, third-party logistics, real estate, manufacturing and distribution operations; Tray focuses on helping clients recognize the benefits of a fully-integrated, properly-executed real estate and supply chain strategy.

Over his 20+ year career, Tray has worked in operations and consulting in supply chain, logistics, and real estate; including experience in roles with Menlo Logistics and The Home Depot. While at The Home Depot, Tray held roles with responsibility for global logistics engineering and transportation operations for the Central U.S. He spent eight years at a commercial real estate firm as a founding member of the Global Corporate Services team. He also led the Corporate Real Estate Integration practice which focused on global shared savings initiatives covering all asset types. Most recently, Tray served as the VP of Global Strategy at logistics consulting and solution implementation firm, Fortna, where he led the supply chain strategy practice.

Edward Archer spent a 36-year career in investment banking, 20 years with JP Morgan in London and New York, followed by 16 years with HSBC in Paris. At HSBC he was Global Head of its “Strategic Financing Advisory” department, advising large companies on financing issues across their entire capital structure, and then spent his final four years there as CEO of HSBC Private Bank, France. Since leaving HSBC he has created his own company, ECNA Consulting, providing training and advice on business presentations. Edward holds a Master of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from Cambridge University. He lives in Paris where he is an active member of the British community.

Work Experience ​

Asaël is a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield and Head of Workplace for Continental Europe. He is a member of the Strategic Consulting leadership team, He delivers consulting missions to corporate users to assist them in defining their real estate strategy.​

As former head of Corporate Real Estate at Sanquin, and earlier, Sanquin Blood Bank, Asael’s role held responsibility for all offices and laboratory space from development design and build to management of the facilities. Asael designing the Facility Services department and developing a coordinating body. In addition, Asael managed various major service contracts for the portfolio, in accordance with laws and regulations through the Safety Register and building related installations on NEN2767.​

His professional background spans the past 15 years beginning as an objective and focused facilities manager, team builder, manager and coach developing environments that positively influence business performance.  ​

While at JLL, Asaël was the recipient of numerous awards for his work focusing on intelligent spatial models, sensor solutions and Human Centric Roadmaps.  With degrees in Hotel management as well as a Bachelor and MBA in Facility Management his focus is on improving the workplace experience.​

Simon is the Founder and CEO of Hatmill, an award winning Logistics and Supply Chain consultancy.  He started his career in Logistics with Asda Wal*Mart and has then spent the last 20 years in consultancy.  He was pwc’s UK lead for logistics before founding Hatmill.  He and his team work with clients in the UK, Europe and the US to improve their end-to-end supply chains.  This includes forecasting, stock management, network development, warehouse and transport operations.  Hatmill’s recent projects include establishing a new distribution centre for a manufacturer in Romania, the design and build of a fully automated frozen warehouse for a UK food manufacturer and developing the logistics operating plan for the construction of Hinckley Point C.

Tim is a  specialist in Logistics and Retail Logistics real estate advising Retailers, Manufacturers and Logistics businesses on their property strategies and transactions.

Much of his experience is advising on the design, development, fitting out and operation of specialist logistics and production facilities. At his time at Kingfisher Tim had responsibility for a £3.5bn owned estate (incorporating retail, logistics and office) and  responsibility for a £15m+ capital budget. He has project experience in most of the major European markets and North America.

Geoffrey Pizzanelli will work from Scannell’s new Paris office and will oversee the acquisition and disposal strategy across Europe and the UK. In his role, Geoffrey will source investment opportunities, monitor the regional underwriting and define and lead disposal strategy. He will also be responsible for setting bank and capital financing with the objective to develop long term relationships with capital partners.

With over 11 years’ experience in Pan-European Asset and Investment Management, Geoffrey has spent almost the last nine years within AEW. During this time, he held various positions including Fund Controller for the LOGISTIS Fund, Asset Manager for France & Spain and Head of Asset Management, Development & Transactions (Logistics & Light industrial in Southern Europe). In his most recent role, he managed a team of 10 Asset Managers responsible for the firm’s logistic fund which targeted logistics, cross docking and light industrial assets in France, Belgium, Italy and Spain.

Geoffrey has both a Bachelor and Master Degree in Accounting and Finance from The Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Paris.  In 2008 he obtained an MBA from St John’s University, New York. He also holds a Bachelor degree from California International Business University, San Diego.
