The Private Rental Sector (PRS) Networking Breakfast has been organized as a response to the growing interest in the institutional rental market of the housing projects by Cushman & Wakefield in cooperation with TPA Poland , the leading  international consultancy group providing comprehensive business advisory services in 11 countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe, mainly for residential developers in Poland.

The networking breakfast will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. on 12th April 2018 at Lumen Office Building at Zlota 59 St. in Warsaw and is free of charge.

During the event experts from Cushman & Wakefield and TPA will focus on practical aspects, key trends, investment market performance and future predictions for PRS in Poland.

Partner, Head of Equity Debt & Structured Finance, Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield

Mira Kantor-Pikus is a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield responsible for 5 years for  strategic advisory within Capital Markets Group focused on capital structures, debt arranging, feasibility study of development projects, equity raising, debt management, restructuring and support in creation fund structures. She has over 20 years of professional experience in banking, financing and investment sector, including real estate and corporate financing. Prior joining Capital Markets she was working for many years in ING Lease on managerial positions responsible among others for structured finance in CEE. Mira has developed a significant track record of successful closings real estate deals, debt advisory for portfolios of properties and single assets, debt management of portfolio of properties for investment funds, preparation  of fund strategies and offering structured finance solutions to Polish and international investors. Mira has Masters degree in Engineering from Warsaw Technical  University, Masters degree in Economics from Warsaw School of Economics. She has finished Postgraduate Study in Law and Administration from Warsaw University and has obtained business grade Executive MBA.

Katarzyna is a licensed property valuer and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). In Valuation & Advisory Department, she is responsible for managing portfolio valuations for Polish and International Clients, leading team responsible for advisory services, including Highest & Best Use, Feasibility study, Research studies and involvement in interdepartmental projects (e.g. transactions and research). Katarzyna has 10 years experience in real estate in Poland. Before she joined Cushman & Wakefield, she had worked in the Valuation and Consultancy Department of Savills. Katarzyna is a graduate of Finance and Banking of the Warsaw School of Economics and completed post-graduate property valuation studies at Warsaw University. She also studied at the College of Estate Management, the University of Reading.

Tax advisor, Partner, TPA Poland

Małgorzata is a Partner responsible for real estate team and the Warsaw tax office, in TPA Poland. She specializes in transactional and restructuring advisory. She has gained a broad experience in advisory on acquisitions and disposals of commercial real estate, as well as related financial restructuring. She has performed numerous structuring projects related to tax optimal holding structure as well as achieving tax optimal solutions, including mergers, liquidations, or exchange of shares. She also specializes in advisory for investment funds. Małgorzata is an author and co-author of numerous tax publications, including “Institutional investments in the Polish private rented sector”, “CIT revolution”, “Real estate guidebook”. She is a speaker at many conferences and tax workshops, jury member of RE industry contests. In 2013 was awarded second place of the Best Tax Advisor in Poland in M&A by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, as well as Women in Tax Leaders title by International Tax Review in 2017. She is a member of the IFA (International Fiscal Association), WIREP and the Stowarzyszenie REIT Polska association. Małgorzata graduated from the University of Economics in Poznań, as well as post-graduate studies in tax law at the School of Economics in Warsaw.
